We’ve been working on identifying rectangles vs squares while reviewing all of the other basic shapes this week. ▪️ We took turns hopping on different shapes and even making it trickier by adding modifiers like size and colour. He still mixes up rectangle and square but I never do these type of activities hoping for mastery. At this age, we are simply exploring through play.
Well I actually anticipated part 1 (see previous post) of this activity to be much messier and that he’d NEED a bath so I planned to do it right before bedtime routine started. But... of course, the day I prepare for him to be messy, he is super careful 😝 Either way, we brought our leftover paint and circles into the tub!! 🛀 First, I filled up the tub with a small layer of water. Then, I let him paint the tub. When he was finished, he scrubbed it off 👏🏻 Then I drained the pink water and filled the tub up again for a regular bath 💕
